QC brief on neuromotor disability, MAiD and Bill 11

This brief responds to issues raised by Québec’s Bill 11: should the word “neuromotor” be included to modify “disability,” should eligibility for euthanasia be extended to disabled adolescents and newborns, and should people who lose capacity to consent when euthanasia is administered be able to obtain MAiD via advance request.

The AMAD committee showed a pro-euthanasia bias from the outset, and did not intend to perform an honest and fulsome evaluation of the impact of medical assistance in dying as implemented.
